Board-level work

Repair the fault.
Not the whole board.

We use electrical measurements and visual inspection to isolate the failure. Not every damaged board is repairable, but diagnosis provides evidence before you decide whether repair makes financial sense.

No-power diagnosis

Short circuits, missing power rails and failed input protection.

Charging circuits

USB-C power delivery, charging controllers and damaged connectors.

Liquid damage

Corrosion cleanup, damaged traces and affected components.

Microsoldering

Ports, connectors, ICs and small surface-mount components.

BIOS and startup

Firmware-related faults and boards that fail during initialization.

Trace and pad repair

Damaged pads, lifted traces and connector-area reconstruction.

Devices assessed: Windows laptops, gaming laptops, MacBooks, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck and other electronics with repairable board-level faults.

Diagnostic sequence

Measure first.
Solder second.

Board-level repair begins with evidence. The sequence below keeps the diagnosis focused and avoids replacing components only because they are close to the visible damage.

01 · ISOLATE

Identify the failed circuit

Power rails, resistance readings and the reported symptom narrow the problem to a specific area.

02 · VERIFY

Confirm the component or connection

Visual inspection and electrical testing confirm whether the fault is a port, trace, IC or supporting circuit.

03 · REPAIR

Restore and test the board

The affected area is repaired, cleaned and tested in the device before the result is confirmed.

Motherboard FAQ

Evidence before
replacement.

Can every damaged motherboard be repaired?

No. Repairability depends on the failed circuit, board condition, corrosion and previous work. Diagnosis provides evidence before you decide.

Can you assess a board another shop already attempted?

Yes, but previous work can affect repairability and price. Include the repair history and clear photos in your request.

Is the $40 diagnostic fee added to an approved repair?

No. The $40 diagnostic fee is applied toward the approved repair. If repair is declined, it covers testing and fault identification.

What warranty is provided?

Warranty coverage depends on the repair performed and the parts used. We confirm the applicable warranty before work begins.
